It’s wonderful to have a significant other to love on you for Valentines Day, but it’s also imperative to love on yourself every day. It’s so important to…
Be your own best friend.
Be your own gym partner.
Be your own coffee buddy. Be your own partner in crime. Be your own everything.
Don’t rely on others to be or do for you. It’s all a part of self-care, something that we all need in these stress-filled days when far too many of us have been isolated and not at our best self.
Self-care is necessary to feel our best both mentally and physically. When we feel good, our outlook on life and our disposition is good. It’s so important to do things you enjoy like reading, walking, spending time with friends and family, getting a manicure and pedicure, taking a spa day, shopping or whatever else you like to do.

In case you didn’t know, Self-care is how you take your power back. Mandy Hale said, “It’s not selfish to love yourself, take care of yourself snd make your happiness a priority. It’s necessary”.
I say self-care is not self-indulgence; it’s self-preservation.
According to Oprah Winfrey, we should take time to do what makes our soul happy. Looking my best, staying abreast of fashion and style, and encouraging others towards that end is one of the main things that make my soul happy. I think it’s great for women to look like a million without spending one.
